Absolutely! Tuk-Ham is a celebration for all ages. We encourage families to bring their children to experience and learn about the rich Ham culture. Children under 12 enter free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

The main festival grounds open at 9:00 AM each day and close at 10:00 PM. Please note that specific events, such as the Grand Durbar and evening cultural dances, have their own scheduled times. Check the Program page for full details.

No, you do not need to print your ticket. We highly encourage scanning your digital ticket directly from your smartphone at the entrance. However, we strongly recommend saving a screenshot of your QR code to your phone beforehand in case of poor network connectivity at the gates.

Guests with VIP passes and multi-day wristbands are allowed unlimited re-entry throughout the day. Standard single-day ticket holders are not permitted to re-enter once their ticket has been scanned and they exit the main gates.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, tickets are fully transferable. You can officially transfer your ticket to a friend or family member via our ticketing portal up to 24 hours before the gates open.

For the safety of all attendees, the following items are strictly prohibited: weapons of any kind, illegal substances, glass bottles, large coolers, outside food and beverages (except sealed water bottles), and unauthorized drones. Security checkpoints will be enforced at all entrances.

Personal cameras and smartphones are highly encouraged! We want you to capture and share your memories. However, professional recording equipment (cameras with detachable lenses over 2 inches), tripods, and drones require prior media accreditation from our press team.

Yes. Our dedicated Vendor Village features a wide array of authentic local Ham delicacies, alongside standard continental food options and fully stocked beverage stands. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

While some vendors accept mobile transfers and POS payments, network connectivity can occasionally fluctuate due to large crowds. We strongly advise bringing enough physical cash with you before arriving at the festival grounds.

Kwoi is accessible by road from major cities. The closest airports are Kaduna International Airport (approx. 2 hours drive) and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja (approx. 2.5 hours drive). We offer official shuttle services from both airports for registered guests – check our Travel & Stay page for details and booking. Private taxis and car hires are also available.

Kwoi offers charming guest houses and lodges. For a wider selection, nearby towns like Kafanchan have hotels with modern amenities. We recommend booking early as accommodation fills up quickly during festival week. Our vetted partner accommodations are listed on the Travel & Stay page with exclusive rates for festival attendees.

The festival grounds are walkable, and most accommodations are within a short distance. For trips to nearby sites, local taxis and tricycles (keke) are readily available. We also provide a free shuttle service between major accommodation hubs and the festival venue – schedule available at the information desk.

Expect warm days and cooler evenings. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Traditional attire is welcome and adds to the festive spirit! Don't forget your camera and a power bank. If you're attending the Royal Durbar, consider wearing respectful attire – smart casual or traditional.
